This works in Chrome for Mac but NOT in FireFox for Mac if that helps anyone….

We are able to save changes on the snippet using Firefox on Mac. I’m using Firefox 90.0.1 (64-bit)
If you still see the issue, try clearing your cache and cookies, and try again, please.
If the issue is not fixed after clearing the cache, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

I decided to remove Rank Math Transients and this seems to have solved the problem, but will wait until I complete another new post before marking this as definitely resolved. Couple of days and I will revert.
The salient point however is that Chrome had no problem editing the post WITHOUT removing the transients…. thanks ๐

Yes on another WordPress installation clearing transients definitely worked in current version of FireFox.
