    Dear Math Rank Support,

    I am migrating a website from yoast seo and i need to only show the first order category in the url.

    E.g. if a product is in the category silk->silk-satin I need to have the url with:

    http://www.sitedomain.it/silk/product-slug

    and not

    http://www.sitedomain.it/silk/silk-satin/product-slug

    Is there a way to achieve this with math rank? The way I was doing it before with yoast seo was with using premmerce permalink manager and using the option where it uses only the yoast main category for the slug.

    I have seen there is an option to remove parent category slug, but i need the reverse (only show the first parent and not the child categories).

    Otherwise i would need to do about 1500 redirects… Or go back to Yoast Seo + premmerce

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us and bringing your concern to our attention.

    Please head over to your WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Ttiles & Meta > Products and from there, select the Product Categories as the Primary Taxonomy:

    Once done, please make sure your parent category is selected as the primary category in the product pages. For more details, you can check this URL: https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-choose-a-primary-category/
