Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
That is not a Rank Math sitemap URL.
Could you please check the following:
1. Is the sitemap working fine in your browser? You can check that by going domain(.)com/sitemap_index.xml
If the sitemap is working fine, you can try validating it on this link: https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/validate-xml-sitemap.html
If the validation works, please move to the second point.
2. Have you verified the correct version of your website on Google? Please check if you have verified the www (or non-www) and https (or http) version of your website. If there is a mismatch, please fix that.
3. Finally, make sure you have cleared the cache and excluded Google bot from seeing a cached version of your sitemap.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
I left Rank Math and went back to Yoast. Plugin got hacked and destroyed my site. Even though it was all up to date. Never happenend this to me using Yoast. I had Rank Math in two of my web sites and both got hacked. Removed it from them won’t be using Rank Math again. Too risky.
Thanks.
Hello,
We are extremely sorry about that.
It absolutely should not have happened due to Rank Math if you were using the updated version.
There were a lot of other vulnerabilities reported with other WP related products too last month. It is possible that you were using one of those and got hacked.
