sitemap_index.xml redirects to homepage

    Hi,

    I created sitemap for my website. When i try to acces mysite.com/sitemap_index.xml it redirects me to home page. I tried WP Options > Permalinks > Save and Rank Math Seo > Sitemaps > Save but it didn’t work for me. I think it’s about .htaccess file. Can you help me out please?
