    Hi

    We’ve recently launched a site using the RankMath plugin and encountered the below error:

    –

    This page contains the following errors:
    error on line 1 at column 7: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document
    Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

    –

    We’ve tried:

    * Switching off all plugins and theme through the ‘Health Check’ plugin
    * We’ve also reviewed code from individual files and removed any additional spacing
    * We’re running the latest plugin

    I’ve added the web address within the Sensitive Data section along with a screenshot and happy to provide access to the CMS unless you have any other suggestions first?

    Sensitive Data Section

    It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    I have removed a couple of spaces and line breaks on the functions.php and external/toolbox.php files and now everything seems to be working fine, could you check it?
