Sitemap: What is worth inserting and what is not?

    Good evening Staff,

    I’m creating a new eCommerce site with WooCommerce and I’ve recently installed the free version of Rank Math to see if it’s right for us.

    In the meantime, I’m using the installation wizard to familiarize myself with your Plugin. In the Sitemap configuration step I would like to understand the ideal setting to start off on the right foot: I use Flatsome as a theme.

    Should I uncheck UX Blocks? Portofilio, Portfolio Categories and Portfolio Tags if we don’t use it, do we deselect it?

    Furthermore, being a shop, is it also convenient to include the Product Categories in the sitemap? The Product Tags (which I can’t find here) maybe it’s better not to insert them?

    thanks for the reply.

    I set from Rank Math –> Sitemap Setup –> Attachments –> Include in XML Sitemap and NO in HTML Sitemap.

    When I go to https://example/sitemap_index.xml and find the entry: https://example/attachment-sitemap.xml the site gives me a 404 error.

    Depends on what? Did I configure something wrong?

    In Rank Math –> Sitemap Setup –> General I put –> Images in sitemap (Yes) + Include featured images (NO).

    Hello,

    If the attachment-sitemap.xml is showing a 404 error, please follow these steps:
    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

    The settings are correctly configured. following the steps above should fix the 404 error.
