This error suggests that you have not yet submitted your sitemap to the search console. Please login to your search console dashboard and submit the sitemap URL to be able to fix this.

Where do I submit it? When I go to RankMath, SearchConsole, Sitemap, there isn’t any place to submit a sitemap, the only option is to Refresh it. The other Tabs under Search Console are Overview, Search Analytics, and Keyword Tracker, and there isn’t a “submit sitemap” option in those, either.
Sorry if I’m missing something obvious, but I can’t figure it out.

You need to do this online via this link https://search.google.com/search-console/about please note that you have to verify your website to create a Google Search console webmaster account.
