Both URLs are fine.
The first one shows up when there is an issue with your .htaccess or Nginx file and rewrite rules are not present. The second one works when URL rewrite rules are present.
Do you mind sharing a screenshot of your permalink settings and the content of your .htaccess or nginx.conf files so we can check?
