  • Hello,

    We apologize for the issue you are facing with your sitemap not showing all of your site URLs. Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention.

    Since you’ve already tried the solutions provided, here are a few additional steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Check for Custom Canonicals: If you have set custom canonical URLs for your posts, those posts may not appear in the sitemap. Ensure that you remove any custom canonicals if you want them to be included in the sitemap.

    2. Review robots.txt File: Make sure that your robots.txt file is not blocking any URLs that you want to be indexed. You can check this by going to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → robots.txt.

    3. Plugin Conflicts: Sometimes, other plugins can conflict with Rank Math. You can use the Health Check plugin to identify any potential conflicts.

    4. Caching Issues: If you are using a caching plugin, clear the cache and see if that resolves the issue. You might also want to disable caching temporarily to check if it affects the sitemap generation.

    5. Sitemap Settings: Double-check your sitemap settings in Rank Math to ensure that all post types and taxonomies you want included are enabled.

    If these steps do not resolve the issue, please reply to this ticket with any specific error messages or behaviors you are observing, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further.

    Thank you for your patience, and we hope to resolve this for you soon!

    Hello,

    We’ve checked your sitemaps, but they seem to be updated with your links.

    Could you please share the affected URL/s so we can check them? You can add it to the sensitive data section by editing your first post

    It is completely secure, and only our support staff has access to that section.

    Meanwhile, here are the common reasons why a URL is not appearing in the sitemap:

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello,

    I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Please note that the ‘Discovered Pages’ on the Google Search Console only shows the number of pages that were discovered using the sitemap, and since the sitemap is not the only tool Google uses to discover pages, the number of ‘Discovered Pages’ might differ from your number of pages on your sitemap.

    Googlebot may have found the URLs from internal links or possibly from links on another site. It mostly happens when you have good internal linking or use the Instant Indexing plugin.

    However, we can see there are 109 posts, pages, and categories added in your /sitemap_index.xml. If you’ve any posts/pages/categories available on your site which is set to index but not showing on your sitemap, please share the affected URL with us so that we can check the issue further for you.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Brother still having the same issue even after updating the plugin to the latest version the sitemap isn’t fetched in the search console showing me this error for pages: No referring sitemaps detected

    Even after i have updated the sitemap regularly the sitemap isn’t fetched for pages and that’s the reason why my pages aren’t indexed.

    And now i am not able to see the sitemap pages, posts and catgeories

    Hello,

    Your sitemaps are working fine. You can also validate it using this tool:
    https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/validate-xml-sitemap.html

    If the issue persists, please follow these steps to flush your sitemap cache:

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    3. Disable the transient cache for the sitemap by applying this filter. This will make sure that your XML sitemap always reflects the latest changes on your site:

    /**
     * Filter if XML sitemap transient cache is enabled.
     *
     * @param boolean $unsigned Enable cache or not, defaults to true
     */
    add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

    If you’re not sure how to add this code, you can follow this guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/

    Once done, remove all your submitted sitemaps and resubmit your main sitemap only /sitemap_index.xml

    After that, give Google some time to recrawl your site and wait for the “Last read” date to be updated.

    Looking forward to helping you.
