Sitemap showing removed page

    I have a page in my site that I tried blocking using the post removal tool in RankMath, but it still showed up. So I changed it to Draft and it still showed up. So I put it in Trash and it still shows up in the sitemap. My only thought is that this page is set as the “blog” page in my theme, even though I don’t have a blog – and it’s in the trash.

    So the only thing I have figured to do is to 301 redirect the URL at the server. Is there any other way to remove a page from the sitemap? Is there a format for entering the Post ID I’m missing? I simply entered the number 3491.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Are you using any cache plugin? It could be caching your sitemap so you might want to exclude it.

    After that, try resaving the permalinks and your issue should be solved.
