Sitemap settings, cannot click the exclude user buttons

#1119326
  • I am in the author sitemap settings. i wish to exclude user types. the button highlights but no tick is placed when i click on it. i tried from anothe browser, same thing. There appears to be some error on the page, but i dont know what it means. I have buddypress and bb forum being used on the site, as well as geo directory… which i changed the buddypress settings to the profile page doesnt redirect to buddypress profile page (so i dont think its that).
the error showing up on the sitemap settinsg page is :
Uncaught TypeError: Invalid attempt to spread non-iterable instance.
In order to be iterable, non-array objects must have a [Symbol.iterator]() method.

  • Hello,

I apologize for the issue you are facing with the sitemap settings. It seems like there is a JavaScript error on the page that is preventing you from clicking the exclude user buttons. The error message you provided indicates a problem with the code that handles the user interface, which could be related to a conflict with other plugins like BuddyPress, bbPress, or GeoDirectory.

Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Clear Cache: If you have any caching plugins active, clear the cache and see if that resolves the issue.
    2. Disable Other Plugins: Temporarily disable other plugins (like BuddyPress and bbPress) to check if there’s a conflict causing this error. If the issue resolves, you can enable them one by one to identify the conflicting plugin.
    3. Check for Updates: Ensure that Rank Math and all other plugins are updated to their latest versions, as updates often fix bugs and compatibility issues.
    4. Browser Console: You can also check the browser console for any additional errors that might provide more context about the issue.

If these steps do not resolve the problem, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from our support team can assist you further. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

This is an automated reply from Rank Math Support Bot. Your ticket has been assigned to a human agent and we will get back to you shortly.
