Sitemap settings

    Hello, I’ve been using Rank Math for a while now and am happy with it. However, about a week ago, I used your guide to setting up the sitemap…and I think I screwed it all up. We’re having our website audited soon and had a consultation yesterday. When he looked at our sitemap setup, it was obvious that it was not good. Like I said, about a week ago, I changed all the settings and would now like to change them back (our website used to list only about 4 or 5 sitemaps; now there are 23). I keep hitting RESET but that doesn’t seem to be working (there are still 23 listed). I was wondering if you’d be able to sign in (I can set up a temp sign-in for you) and set it back to “factory settings”, like when I first installed it? Please?

    After resetting the settings, can you please follow these steps?
    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    That should fix the issue.

    If the issue persists, please provide the WordPress login details in the sensitive data section.

    Thanks for getting back to us.

    I just inspected your website and made sure that the WP Rocket was correctly set up to exclude the sitemap from being cached, then flushed the sitemap and it’s now showing correctly and only displaying 6 sitemaps.

    Check the screenshot in the sensitive data section.
