Can you please follow these steps?
1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/
Once done, clear your website and browser cache and check the sitemap.

My sitemap is now working well and there is no redirect but I have noticed another problem now, I thought it was due to an update but I don’t think so.
The first method that has been shown in the video https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp i.e Flushing the Sitemap cache which is done by increasing the number of posts by 1 but that option is not showing in my rank math. I am attaching another screenshot. Please check it out.

Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Do note that some options are only available when you enable the Advanced Mode in Rank Math. If it’s not showing, you must have chosen to use the Easy Mode. Please follow the steps in this link to switch to Advanced Mode:

After enabling that, you should be able to see the option that you can’t see from your end before.
