  • I have accessed today to my google search console and after 5 weeks Google has informed me that none of the posts on my websites are being taken from my sitemap by Google to be ranked. I neeed this to be fixed as quick as possible since the posts are the key content I want to rank. In the sensitive data box there is a link with the a pic of a screenshot of the message on Google search console.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Your sitemap appears to be fine from my end. The issue with the URL not not listed on Google seems to be some errors in it’s markup preventing the post to be eligible for all Google enhancements. The issue actually seems to be with the AMP related page, you confirm this by testing your URL here: https://search.google.com/test/rich-results

The issue seems to be missing logo field which was fixed in our updates a while ago. Please ensure you are using the latest version of Rank math: https://rankmath.com/changelog/ and if that doesn’t help, assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

If the issue persists, please record a video screencast using a tool like Loom showing the troubleshooting and edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

I added a loom video on the sensitive info box explaining what the situation is right now. Thank you so much for your time!!!

PS please let me know if you recieved it and if you need more information.

    Hello,

    1. Both URLs in your screencast ar included in your sitemap:

If Google isn’t seeing them, you can exclude the Sitemaps from being cached:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    2. I do not see any issue with your robots.txt file relating to your content being blocked out:

    User-agent: *
    Crawl-delay: 60

But, please remove the robots.txt file in your website’s root and Rank Math will create one for you automatically with the correct format.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

How can I remove the robots.txt file in my website’s root as you recomend?

Thank you for such an amazing customer service

Once I’ve done as told in step 1 (If Google isn’t seeing them, you can exclude the Sitemaps from being cached):
1.- do I send the sitemap again?
2.- Should I wait until I remove the robots.txt file in your website’s root and Rank Math will create one for you automatically with the correct format?
3.- or just by fixing these 2 issues there’s no need to resend the sitemap?

Thank you again for all the info

    Hello,

You can flush the Sitemap cache if Google hasn’t seen them by following this video screencast: https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

You also can remove robots.txt and then flush your sitemap after it shouldn’t be a problem.

Removing robots.txt can be done via FTP. If you are unsure, I suggest discussing this with your hosting provider.

I hope this resolves your issue.

I found the problem. Now I would need to know how to add canonigal tags to my posts.
    Thank you
