Sitemap problem (standard theme, no plugins)

    Dear Rank Math team,

    we installed your plugin a few weeks ago and are excited about it! After we wanted to go live a few days ago and therefore also wanted to submit a sitemap to Google, we unfortunately encountered a problem that cannot be solved by myself… maybe you can help me?

    (please see sensitive data)

    I have checked both functions.php and wp-config.php for empty spaces or lines, and also carried out a system health check – the problem persists despite deactivating all plugins (except Rank Math, of course), even with the standard Twenty-Twenty theme. If you look into the source code of the sitemap, you will notice a blank line at the beginning…

    On an identical other WordPress installation everything works (with the same theme, plugins etc.) without any problems…

    I am now very desperate and would be very happy if you could help me!

    I tried clearing the cache and flushed the sitemap cache by following this video guide: https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp and the sitemap seems to be working fine now as you can see in my screenshot in the Sensitive Data section.

    Can you please check again from your end? If you are still seeing the error, kindly clear your website and browser cache. Also, if you have any server-level caching service like Cloudflare, kindly clear the caches there too. You may refer to this guide:
