If yes, then I checked the sitemaps and I was unable to replicate the issue. The sitemaps are loading properly.

If you’re still facing the issue, then you can clear your browser’s cache or try opening the sitemaps in incognito mode.

First of all, thank you very much for your answer. While I was sending the message, I was getting a 404 error, but now the sitemap works as you said. But it still appeared as “Failed” on Search Concole. However, I fixed it by re-adding the sitemap. But I could not fully understand where this problem originated from. I would like to know what to do if such an error occurs.

The 404 error on sitemap occurs when Rewrite rules are missing in the .htaccess file, flushing(re-saving) the permalinks helps to refresh the .htaccess file.
The Failed or Couldn’t Fetch sitemap error is, in most cases, simply due to a bug in the Google Search Console, usually deleting and re-submitting the sitemap resolves this, you can refer to this detailed guide if you face the issue again:
