Hello,
Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Upon checking your admin settings, I noticed that you have an entry in your robots.txt
file that has different XML created from an external app/service. Please see the Sensitive Data section for a screenshot.
Please delete this robots.txt
file in your website’s root folder and see if the issue goes away. If you are not sure, you can also contact your hosting provider and fix it for you.
Let me know how it goes. We are looking forward to helping you
Hello,
We checked your website further and it looks like even though the sitemap settings were on, you had not enabled the post or the page sitemaps. With nothing to show inside, the sitemap_index.xml file was showing a 404.
We have fixed it for you from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Sitemap Settings > Posts/Pages and now the Sitemap is working fine.
Please check this from your end as well.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
I am marking this as resolved. Thanks again.
