    Dear Rank Math Support Team,

I’m encountering an issue where the sitemap fails to update automatically when I publish a new article on my website. Each time I add a new post, I need to manually reset the sitemap settings for the URL to appear in the sitemap.

Here are some additional details about the issue:

    Website URL: https://thejustifiable.com/
    WordPress Version: 6.7.1
    Rank Math Plugin Version: 1.0.235
    Theme: OceanWP
Other Relevant Plugins Installed: Cache Warmer, Internal Link Juicer, LiteSpeed Cache, PrettyLinks, Wordfence Security.

I have already tried the following:
Clearing the cache from my website and server.
Adding the sitemaps to the litespeed exclude cache URI.
Disabling and re-enabling the sitemap feature.
Checking for plugin and theme conflicts by deactivating other plugins.
Despite these steps, the issue persists. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this as it disrupts my workflow. Please let me know if additional information or access is required to troubleshoot this further.

    Thank you for your support!

    Best regards,
    Juxhin Bregu

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with your sitemap not updating automatically after publishing new posts. Thank you for providing detailed information about your setup and the steps you’ve already taken to troubleshoot the problem.

It seems that the sitemap may be cached, which can prevent it from updating automatically. To resolve this, we recommend ensuring that your sitemap is excluded from caching in LiteSpeed Cache. You can do this by following these steps:

    1. Go to LiteSpeed Cache → Cache → Excludes in your WordPress dashboard.
    2. In the Do Not Cache URIs field, add the following code snippet:
      /(.*)sitemap(.*).xml
      /(.*)sitemap.xsl
      /sitemap_index.xsl
      /sitemap_index.xml
    3. Click Save Changes.

Additionally, if you haven’t already, please check if there are any restrictions from your web host that might be affecting the sitemap’s accessibility. Sometimes, security settings can block crawlers from accessing the sitemap.

If the issue persists after trying these solutions, we recommend replying to this ticket with any additional details or errors you might encounter, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to helping you resolve this issue!
