Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.
This issue is most likely due to the character in Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Local SEO > Website name
Helyszínek Sitemap – GazoFitness®
It hasn’t escaped properly on the frontend, causing our sitemap to break. You may need to remove the character, save the settings, and put it back.
The sitemap should work after that.
Let us know how this goes.
I did it, but unfortunately it still doesn’t show up well: https://gazofitness.hu/sitemap_index.xml
i checked the all in seo and it does sitemap display. i checked the yoast seo and it also does sitamap display. only the rankmath seo does not do nothing can you help me to make it work ? what could be the reason for not displaying sitemap when everything is set and enabled.
Hello,
This issue is occurring because on your database entries, there are some Unicode characters that are preventing the sitemap from loading correctly.
Please access your WordPress database and check the table wp_options
. You’ll notice entries like blogname
with Unicode characters instead of the correct characters in there.
To be more specific, you may take a look if you find a similar entry like GazoFitness®
in the option_value
column. Here is an example below for your reference:

Please try to replace this entry with GazoFitness®
, and then the sitemap should start working fine again.
Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Thank you, I managed to fix the bug and now it appears. But I have another question.I have turned on the image seo, there are images created that are displayed in the google search system alt text description and unfortunately in the search engine either on phone or desktop the images do not appear. The competition appears to me unfortunately not only the text. How can I make it , so that I can also see the images 3-4 images in the search section ?

Hello,
Please note that we have no way of controlling the images and the information shown in search results. The Google Search algorithms select the image’s information as it believes it would benefit the users. The image optimization in our plugin will increase the odds for Google to pick up the alt/title as set for your images but the final alt text to be used still depends on Google.
You may refer to Google’s official guide on optimizing the images here: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/google-images
Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any other questions.
Thank you for the information.
I have been using All in One SEO until now, and I switched to your plugin mainly to ensure image visibility and to achieve the best possible search rankings. With All in One SEO, my pages typically ranked in positions 1–3. However, since switching to your plugin, my rankings have dropped to positions 6–8 or even the second page of search results.
I have thoroughly configured all available settings, but unfortunately, the results are not meeting expectations.
What can I do to improve performance? Would it be advisable to switch back to All in One SEO?
Hello,
Sorry for the experience you had while using the plugin. We will try our level best to help you get to the bottom of this.
There are a few things you have to keep in mind when using any SEO plugin, not just Rank Math.
1. An SEO plugin alone cannot bring down or bring up the traffic in a day (or even a few days) unless incorrect Meta Tags are used by setting up the plugin improperly. That’s why we have a detailed tutorial on that:
https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-setup/
2. All the SEO plugins add Meta tags for the search engines, which can be checked by viewing the source of a page. For instance, here:
view-source:https://rankmath.com/
Other popular plugins generate similar tags:
https://i.rankmath.com/n94KyH
And with the Rank Math plugin, additional tags are added to a page so search engines can understand the content on a website better.
3. Google brings a new algorithmic update several times a month, and the chances are great that your website got hit by that.
We have a full guide on that: https://rankmath.com/blog/google-algorithm-update-recovery/
In the PRO version of the plugin, you can even see if the drop in traffic correlates to an algorithm update. Here’s how:
https://rankmath.com/kb/google-algorithm-updates/
So, to start, we would recommend a complete SEO audit by following the steps here: https://rankmath.com/blog/seo-audit/
Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
