  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Your sitemap doesn’t seem to be generated by Rank Math.

Can you please follow these steps?

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

If the steps above don’t work, please check if there’s a physical sitemap file in your website’s root directory. If you have seen any, please delete it and let us know how that goes.

    Looking forward to helping you.

It didn’t work. I added to .htacces but still nothing
    I did steps 1 and 2 and didn’t work.
I don’t have a sitemap file at the root of my site.

    Hello,

Please check if you are using any other plugin for the sitemap.

If you are not sure, you can follow this troubleshooting guide to check if the theme or any other plugin is generating the sitemap:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

    Hope that helps.

    Looking forward to helping you.

I did follow that troubleshooting guide and it caused me even bigger problems. The Health check plugin disabled the WordPress dashboard on my site and I can’t login any more to https://partforpc.com/wp-admin/

    Hello,

The changes that you make when the Health Check plugin is active do not affect the live website.

Can you try to access your WordPress dashboard in an incognito window?

However, we would like to take a closer look at the website settings.

As the Health Check plugin is not working, can you create a staging website and replicate the issue there and share its logins in the sensitive data section along with your FTP login details so that we can perform the troubleshooting there and your live website doesn’t get affected by the troubleshooting.

You may follow this article to create the staging website: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-staging-environment-for-a-wordpress-site/

We look forward to helping you.
