Sitemap last modified date missing & incorrect images

    Hi, I have followed the instructions in the link below about the settings in .htaccess plus the W3 Total cache and flushing the RM sitemap cache.

    The issue still prevails.

    The post entries are fine, but the category and CPT taxonomy pages show no last modified dates – same as in this post which I have been through at length: https://support.rankmath.com/ticket/sitemap-is-showing-incorrect-number-of-images/

    I have checked that Cloudflare is not caching the pages – showing BYPASS.

    In the listings sitemaps there is a date, but it is not picking up the number of images on each ‘listing’ post. I believe this is because the field storing the images does not hold a url but the image number in the WP database.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math for help with your taxonomy sitemaps not showing last modified dates.

    Category and other taxonomy sitemap pages do not show a last modified date by default as they are dynamically generated pages. Only single post pages have last modified dates as they are manually published and updated. You do not need to worry about the last modified dates for the taxonomy sitemaps.
