Sitemap Issue – Showing Wrong Published Post

Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with your sitemap. It’s important to ensure that all your published posts are correctly included in the sitemap for proper indexing by search engines.

To address this issue, please follow these steps:

1. Validate Your Sitemap: Use the Validate XML Sitemap tool to confirm that your sitemap is correctly configured. Once you’ve entered your sitemap URL, click on the “VALIDATE SITEMAP” button. If your sitemap is correctly configured, the tool will return a “No issues detected” success message.

   

2. Ensure the Sitemap is Located in the Root Folder: If you manually created the sitemap, ensure it is installed in the root folder of your WordPress installation. The correct path should be something like `https://rankmath.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/show-dates-option-1.jpg

3. Ensure Your Posts Are Set to Index: Check if your posts are set to noindex. To set your posts to index, go to Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta and enable the Index checkbox in the Robots Meta settings.

   

Once you’ve made these changes, remember to save them.
