Sitemap issue – not updated – can’t find in google

    Goodmorning,

    I’m using RankMath but some of my pages can’t be found in Google. So I think my sitemaps will not updated properly or not read well by Google.

    Please could you take a look why some of the sitemaps will not be found in Google and if the sitemaps generated well?

    Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    It seems like your sitemap is getting cached. Please follow these steps:

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    That should fix the issue. Please let me know if that does not. We are here to assist.

    Thanks for your answer.

    I flushed the sitemaps cache, as described the video. Furthermore I wrote the code as described in the .htaccess file. Please how can I check if the sitemap is excluded from cache?

    Hello,

    You can publish a new test post and check your sitemap. If the post appears in the post sitemap right after publishing it then your sitemap is bot getting cached.

    Thanks, I tested it and the post appears in the post sitemap.

    Hopefully Google will pick it up as well.
