sitemap is successfully submitted but shows the zero Discovered URLs

    currently when i submit the my sitemap in google search console then sitemap is submited successfully but shows the zero Discovered URLs. so i dont know what is the issue.

    I’ve checked your sitemap, and it seems to be working fine.

    Each time Google uses a sitemap to find a URL, the count of the Discovered URLs increases by one. When the count of the Discovered URLs is zero, it means Google didn’t use the sitemap to find the URLs.

    That will not be a disadvantage since Google already crawled your URLs using different methods.

    Please note that if the URLs are getting discovered by other means then the discovered URLs in the sitemap section can be zero. It mostly happens when you have good internal linking or use the Instant Indexing plugin. Can you please confirm if that’s the case on your site?

    It fine to see zero discovered URLs there. Since, sitemap is only a backup crawling/discovery mechanism for Google to crawl your URLs.

    The root focus should be if your site URLs are being indexed on Google on not. If they are being indexed perfectly, that shouldn’t be an issue.

    You can look for your coverage report section of GSC if any error has been reported by Google or not, rather than focusing on discoverd URLs count.
