Could you please do the following:
1. Head over to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks
Hit the save button once.
2. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Sitemap Settings
Hit the save button once.
That should fix the issue.
If it doesn’t, please do let us know so we can look at this further.

But why did this happen?
Hello,
Probably it was being generated and it took some time (if your site has a lot of content). If that is not the case, maybe something made it to stop being generated (like a plugin update or a system update), and then you should wait until next Cron job (or force it like you did when saving the permalinks).
