    Hi there,

I just shifted my site to Kinsta hosting and the sitemap index no longer loads and can’t be read by Google Search console.

    https://crosswordbaron.com/sitemap_index.xml

It returns a 500 error as you can see.

I asked Kinsta to add the NGINX code as requested by the plugin, but it still doesn’t work.

Can you help fix it please?

    Hello,

Thank you so much for getting in touch.

Judging by the error message this means that the server resources on the server are getting exhausted. It looks like the WordPress Database is having a hard time pulling these data to the sitemap.

And based on the homepage, there are over 700,000 pages on the website. If it’s that much, then the sitemap would have a hard time showing these pages on the sitemap.

Please ask your hosting provider to increase the memory to at least 512MB or 1GB.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need my assistance with anything else.
