Hello,
We apologize for the inconvenience you’re experiencing with the sitemap on republicexteriors.com. We understand the importance of having an accurate sitemap for SEO purposes.
The issue you’re facing could be due to various reasons, such as caching, plugin conflicts, or other technical issues. To resolve this, we recommend checking the following:
-
Caching: Ensure that the sitemap is not being cached. You can exclude the sitemap from caching using the instructions provided in our knowledge base article.
-
Plugin Conflicts: Use the Health Check plugin to determine if any other plugin is causing a conflict with the sitemap generation.
-
Redirection: It’s great that you’ve added a 301 redirection for the missing pages. However, it’s important to ensure that there are no conflicting redirection rules that might be affecting the sitemap generation.
If the issue persists after checking these points, please provide us with additional details, and we’ll be happy to assist you further.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue for you.
Best regards,

Please guide me on this. This issue is really hurting. Please let me know what details you need to verify this issue.
Hello,
Thank you for your patience.
If you have only redirected those pages, then they won’t be removed from your sitemap.
You may need to either delete/unpublish them or set them to noindex.
If they are already deleted from your WordPress, then please follow these steps to flush your sitemap cache:
1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp
2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/
3. Disable the transient cache for the sitemap by applying this filter. This will make sure that your XML sitemap always reflects the latest changes on your site:
/**
* Filter if XML sitemap transient cache is enabled.
*
* @param boolean $unsigned Enable cache or not, defaults to true
*/
add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');
If you’re not sure how to add this code, you can follow this guide:

Let us know how this goes.
Ok, I will try these and will confirm by tomorrow.
