  • Hello, I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re facing with your sitemap in Google Search Console. It looks like the sitemap has been submitted successfully and last read by Google on the same day. Since you’ve already cleared the cache and saved the settings, it’s possible that Google hasn’t crawled the sitemap again yet.

One thing you can do is to remove the sitemap from the Google Search Console and then re-submit it. Here’s how you can do that:

    1. Go to the Google Search Console.
    2. Click on the three dots in the top-right corner of the page.
    3. Choose the Remove sitemap option.
    4. Once removed, you can add it again by entering the sitemap URL and then clicking the SUBMIT button.

This process will prompt Google to recrawl your sitemap and update the status accordingly. If you have any other questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out to our support team. We are available 24×7 and will help you out as soon as possible.

Thanks for your reply. I deleted sitemap_index.xml and added back. Still only showing 214 items. As you can see from here https://dogsupplieshere.com/sitemap_index.xml there are over 8000 products alone. Any other ideas?
    thanks

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Having zero or a low number of discovered pages does not mean that Google is ignoring your sitemap or that your pages are not being indexed. It simply means that Google has already found your pages from another source, such as a link from another site or a social media post.

Your sitemap is just one of the ways that Google can discover your pages, but it is not the only one. As long as your pages are being indexed, you don’t need to worry about how they are discovered. Your sitemap is still useful because it helps Google find your new or updated content faster.
