Sitemap / Google Console Issues

Hi there, I am having some serious Sitemap (with Rank Math) / Google Console Issues…

No matter how hard I try, I keep getting Google Console errors.

I have ensured all links are structured super well, rebuilt the index and all other tools in the advanced user / database section.

In Google Console: It shows 60 Errors, with 6 issues that range from crawl issues, and 404 errors of links that work! And others are Not Indexed – yet I can see them in the sitemap.

I also noticed that it shows issues and things from the past and never updates to be removed or hide.

Any suggestions / things you can see that I am doing wrong? – Anything.

    Thank you

    Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch and I am extremely sorry about the trouble this might have caused.

There are a few things you must check for in order to see why the posts aren’t getting indexed.

    1. Make sure the post is not selected as ‘noindex’ in WP > Posts > Your Post > Advanced Tab in Rank Math.
    Screenshot:

    Individual Post Advanced Tab

    2. Ensure that the noindex is not selected for Global or Posts meta:

    Noindex Settings

    3. Check the sitemap settings and check if the posts are setup to be included in the sitemaps:

    Post Settings

Please note that it is completely upto Google if they want to index or not index your website. So, if you haven’t willingly or accidentally made your posts noindex and Google still isn’t indexing your page – it means that either Google doesn’t want to index or hasn’t crawled your page yet because it hasn’t allocated that much crawl budget to your website.

Please check this website for more details.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Firstly, thanks a lot for getting back to me. I have deeply ensured each stage was looked at, and in fact, all was checked to be the same as your screenshots.

one thing I must make clear is, it’s got nothing to do with the ‘blogs’, actually the blogs are all ok.

The links that have issues / errors are things like forum post links (that work), but with have crawl issues or not indexed (when they are all looking good in the site map).

    – About the crawl limit / budget; – I have a cap on the sitemap of 200 links per sitemap page, but I feel my site is actually not that big, it’s 13 sitemap links, and neither go over 100.

Thanks for the site link – https://www.searchenginejournal.com/definitive-list-reasons-google-isnt-indexing-site/118245/#close

I have a question about robots.txt – may you see in ‘Sensitive Data’ if this is normal. – issues on links have that…

I may have found the issue! –

    Indexing allowed?

No: ‘noindex’ detected in ‘robots’ meta tag

    – So the question to resolve all this is, how to fix the ‘noindex’ for individual pages that show up as Submitted URL marked ‘noindex’ -> No: ‘noindex’ detected in ‘robots’ meta tag

    ??

once again, thank you so much…

    Hello,

    Thank you for following up.

Could you confirm if this issue is already resolved? I’ve checked a few pages in your forum and couldn’t see the noindex tag in them.

If the issue persists, please share some URLs that are marked as noindex in the error message. You can provide them in the designated sensitive data section for us to further check.

Thank you, and looking forward to helping you.
