Sitemap Exclude Category

    Hi Team,

    I’ve excluded a category in RankMath’s Sitemap but I’m still seeing that categories posts in the sitemap. I don’t understand the issue, please help.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

    Can you please follow these steps?
    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

    That should fix the issue. Please let me know if that does not. We are here to assist.

    sadly none of the above fix the issue, I’m still seeing the excluded categories post in the sitemap. I’m using NGIX servers, if that info can help you to provide a better solution.

    One more thing, category exclusion isn’t working but single post exclusion is working. I’ve added post ID in Exclude Posts and it worked. Also there are only few recently articles which are coming in the sitemap from the excluded category but not the previous article posted.
