Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Your sitemap URL is reporting a 404 error, can you confirm that you have enabled the sitemaps module via Rank Math > Dashboard?
If this is enabled, could you please perform the steps described below to fix the 404 error:
1. Head over to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks
Hit the save button once.
2. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Sitemap Settings
Hit the save button once.
That should fix the issue.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

The Rank Math sitemap was enabled, and I just went through the steps above.
Let me know if you still see the 404 error.
Thank you.
Hi Matthew,
The sitemap_index page is now displaying but the individual post sitemaps are still reporting 404 errors.
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
Thank you for the patience.
I have fixed the 404 errors and also increased the number of links on your sitemap.
Please head over to your Google search console dashboard, delete the current sitemap and resubmit a new sitemap using this URL https://monkeysfightingrobots.co/sitemap_index.xml
Give this a few days for Google to fetch the newly submitted links and then let us know how this goes.
Thank you.
The site map has been submitted and under the status, we have 6 errors.
General HTTP error 404
Thank you again for your time and help.
Hi Matthew,
Thanks for the follow up.
You can fix the fetching issues by disabling caching on the sitemap file.
Please get in touch with your host so that they can help in bypassing the cache.
This should then fix the issue.
Thank you.
