Sitemap Error

    Rank Math free

    In Google search console, it shows a error for sitemap. It shows “sitemap data couldn’t fetch”.

    After that,I have opened the sitemap url from the RankMath > Sitemap settings > “Your sitemap index can be found here”.

    When i clicked on the url it shows “Oops That page couldn’t be found”.

    Please help me with the issue occured.

    Can you please follow these steps?
    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    Once done, clear your website and browser cache and check the sitemap, and then resubmit the sitemap_index.xml in the Search Console.

    However, the couldn’t fetch error, is in most cases simply due to a bug in the Search Console.

    It worked. Should I delete the sitemap which existed earlier in the search console under (Submitted Sitemap ) and then add it again?
