Can you please follow the steps below and see if that helps?
1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/
3. Remove all the sitemaps from Search Console, clear your website cache, and resubmit the sitemap_index.xml

I have no cahing plugin installed. I did the other steps – no results.
RankMath doesnt build a sitemap. Why?
Instead, I installed Yoast and the sitemap apperas. Why dos Yoast work and RankMath not?
