Hello,
Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Upon checking your sitemap page, it looks like it is still heavily cached. Can you please exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin? The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article: https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/
We may also need to check this one over your admin settings to investigate further. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
I could see in the screenshot shared by you, the sitemap was last read on Feb 13 2021
.
As you have submitted the sitemap on Feb 18
wait for some time for Google to crawl your sitemap to show the correct number of URLs.
I hope this helps. Looking forward to helping you.
hi,
Unfortunately, it was read yesterday and it is still the same number

Hello,
Would you please do this:
> click on the sitemap in your GSC to see the included sitemaps.
> Check to see which of your sitemap seems to contain extra URLs.
> Open the sitemap with extra URLs, still on GSC to see if you can be able to see te list of URLs not belonging to your site.
Let us know how this goes. You may also share some screenshots of the same.
Looking forward to helping you.
hello,
> click on the sitemap in your GSC to see the included sitemaps.”It does not contain any sitemaps” https://ibb.co/GsPyWgy
Unfortunately, I do not understand the rest of the steps to implement
Hello,
Thai is quite weird. The sitemap file should show the individual sitemaps within your sitemap_index.xml.
I have used this tool: https://technicalseo.com/tools/xml-sitemap/ to ping Google to crawl your sitemaps again to see if it will update
If it doesn’t, please confirm if the issue is really with Rank math sitemap by using a 3rd party sitemap plugin. Just make sure you have disabled the Sitemap module of Rank Math in WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard
when using a 3rd party sitemap plugin.
If the other plugin works, please do let us know.
Thank you.
hello,
I am not using any sitemap plugin and the rest of my sites also encountered this problem after an attack “Japanese keywords hack service”
Hello,
Thank you for the update, and sorry for the delay.
Could you please try removing all the sitemaps you have submitted and resubmit your main sitemap only /sitemap_index.xml
then give Google some time to recrawl your website?
If that didn’t help, please use a different plugin to generate your sitemap and make sure the Rank Math sitemap module is disabled. Please let us know if that fixes the issue.
I hope that helps. Thank you, and looking forward to your update.
