Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Please remove the sitemap from GSC.
Head over to Rank math > General settings > Search console and delete the cache.
Deauthorize, refresh your site then Authorize again.
Give it sometime, then add your sitemap to the console again. That should have your issue fixed.
Hoping this helps you. Thank you.
thanks for your prompt reply.
Today, I see, post sitemap was read on 5th June (I guess, it is after making google ping to post sitemap url)…However, category sitemapl url was not read.
I will follow and do as you suggested..Hope that will fix it.
Hello,
Thank you for the follow up
Please follow the steps and let us know how it goes.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
thank you..Google is reading sitemap.
the only problem I am having is that new posts are not getting index since 25th May.
On console when I test Url it says: submitted and indexed but it doesn’t appear in SERP
I know it got something to do with google search console bug and many people having same issue.Anyways, Google is crawling my sitemap, last read was on 6th May.
regards
Hello,
Since Google has crawled the sitemap and it is even indexing the website, it just seems like a problem in Google Search Console or that Google didn’t start ranking the content of your website.
In both cases, it seems the best solution is to wait to see if Google fixes it.
Looking forward to help you.
P.S: I saw you added several sitemaps in Google Search Console. Remember you only need to add sitemap_index.xml.
Yeah, earlier I had added post and cat sitemap separately as it was not getting read but later I deleted it after following Michael’s guide.
the problem is with google console…everything looks fine on my end..just that google not indexing new post…I read on forums many other ppl having same issue.
Btw, is there a way to deindex Feed ? and shall I deindex it?…I see all feed url in coverage -crawled – currently not index.
so, is it good idea to noindex feed url?thank you, best regards.
Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.
You can add a disallow statement to your robots.txt file to prevent these from getting indexed like so:
Disallow: */feed/
Indexing your feed can’t be said as right or wrong, it is entirely up to you to judge if you wish it to be crawled or not.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
thank you
