The number of page counts of my sitemap is stuck at 336 despite creating and uploading 348 pages.

Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with your sitemap count not increasing. There are several reasons why certain URLs might not be included in your sitemap:
-
Exclusion from Sitemap Settings: Check if the pages are excluded from the Sitemap Settings in Rank Math. You can do this by navigating to Rank Math SEO → Sitemap Settings and reviewing the Exclude Posts and Exclude Terms options.
-
Empty Archive Pages: If any of your category/tag/custom taxonomy archive pages are empty (i.e., have no posts attached), they will be excluded by default. You can include these by enabling the Include Empty Terms option in your settings.
-
Caching Issues: Sometimes, caching plugins can interfere with the sitemap. Ensure that your sitemap is excluded from caching. You can find guidance on how to do this here.
-
Sitemap Not Being Updated: If you have recently created new pages, ensure that your sitemap is being updated correctly. You can manually refresh it by going to your sitemap URL (usually
yourdomain.com/sitemap_index.xml
) and checking if the new pages appear.
If you have checked these settings and are still experiencing issues, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from our support team can assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern!

Dear Team,
I have tried everything that you have suggested but it’s still not working.
Hello,
Could you please apply the following filter on your website to disable the transients cache for the sitemap and see if that works for you?
add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');
Here’s how you can add a filter/hook to your WordPress site:
https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/If the issue persists, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
