    The sitemap file configuration looks okay on my end. Could you please temporarily disable the sitemap module via Rank Math > Dashboard and then install the following sitemap plugin and then let us know if the same error will be reported:

    Hello,

    Just to be sure, did you add the sitemap_index.xml to the Google Search Console? It is the sitemap Rank Math uses and the only one you should add. Could you check it?

    Hi,

    I wanted to add that the correct file for sitemaps in Rank Math is sitemap_index.xml but you see to be using sitemap.xml

    Also, make sure the sitemap files are not getting cached. You can do that by adding them to the cache exclusion list in your cache plugin.

    I am bot using any cache plugin, so how can it be possible?

    Nope, its not getting cached

    And previously, I disabled the rankmath plugin to check the other plugin, that Michael Davis sir recommended me. That plugin needed me to submit sitemap.xml in the search console and the same error was there. I disabled the other one

    I resubmitted the rankmath’s sitemap i.e sitemap_index.xml

    Since this error is also reported on the other sitemap plugin then this means that the problem is not related to Rank Math or your site. It is likely that your added sitemaps have been added to the processing queue and will take some time to fetched.

    Please give this a week or so after sitemap submission and check back to see if there will be a change.
