  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I’ve tried to validate the Sitemap and there’s no issue detected.

Here’s a screenshot for your reference:

Can you please follow these steps and check if it fixes the issue?
    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

That should fix the issue. Please let me know if that does not. We are here to assist.

I have already cleared cache and excluded rank math from the cache in htacess. But still same error,

    Hello,

The Sitemap(author-sitemap.xml) that is reporting an error on your search console does not exist on your Sitemap index file. Can you please check this?

Also, please make sure that you verified the correct version of your website on Google. Please check if you have verified the www (or non-www) and HTTPS (or HTTP) versions of your website. If there is a mismatch, please fix that.

We are here if you need us again.

    Thank you

    Hello,

I have inspected your sitemap and found there are no author-sitemap.xml Could you please check whether sitemap for author are enabled or not?

To enable this you will need to first enable the author archives in Rank math > Titles & Meta > Authors as shown here: https://rankmath.com/kb/titles-and-meta/#authors then ensure your users robots meta is set to index.

Hope this helps, Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello,

Could you please contact your hosting provider and ask if you have any server-level caching services like Cloudflare that might be still caching your sitemap?

Also, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress login in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,
