Sitemap could not be read

    Hello,

    I read already all your relevant instructions and tickets but this sitemap looks fine and still Google returns: “Sitemap could not be read/fetch”…

    Any clues?

    Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    I submitted your sitemap to an XML sitemap validator and it seems to be loading fine. Please see the screenshot in the sensitive data section.

    Can you please clear your website’s cache, remove all your sitemaps from Google Search Console and resubmit the primary sitemap (https://yourdomain.com/sitemap_index.xml)? See if the issue goes away after doing so.

    The Couldn’t Fetch sitemap error is, in most cases, simply due to a bug in the Google Search Console.

    Please follow the instructions in this guide to fix this issue.

    I followed those but still the same results.
    But no problem, I leave it as is as I see everything is fully indexed anyhow.

    Can you please confirm if your content has been indexed? If yes, and the error regarding the sitemap still appearing on the GSC, then this might indeed be a bug on the GSC’s end.
