Hello,
Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.
The category sitemap is not present and that is why the URL is getting redirected to the homepage.
There are some reasons for the category sitemap to not work:
1. There are no categories on your website
2. All the categories are set to noindex
3. You have disabled the category sitemap from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Sitemap Settings > Categories.
Please check which one it is and If that doesn’t work, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please open a new ticket here and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
https://support.rankmath.com
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
It’s rather weird because I do have categories (few of them are on no index, but not all of them).
And plus, my categories are set on “include to the site map”.
What can I do to have my categories on the site map?
Thanks
[MOVED TO SENSITIVE SECTION]
Hello,
You seem to have set all your categories to noindex. I changed one of your categories(Accompagnement spécifique) to index and as you can see in the screenshot I have added in the sensitive section, your category sitemap is being generated.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Hello,
yes thanks.
But because all of my categories are in no index, is there a way to supress categories from the sitemap ?
Thanks
Hello,
By suppress categories from the sitemap
, do you mean to remove them from sitemap. I believe through our replies it is already clear setting them to noindex does exclude them from sitemap. If this is not the case, please let us know exactly what you intend to do so we can assist you accordingly.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
