Do you have many posts set as noindex?
That might explain why the post-sitemap2.xml file is created but doesn’t contain anything. It is being redirected to the homepage.
Please go to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Sitemap Settings and increase the number of posts.
That should get rid of the additional, blank sitemap file.
