  • Hello, we’re sorry to hear that you’re facing issues with your sitemap. The error message "Sitemap can be read, but has errors" typically indicates that there are problems with the format or content of your sitemap. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue:

    1. Check the Sitemap Header: Ensure that your sitemap file is using the correct header. It should look like this:

Make sure the namespace in the header ends with 0.9.

    2. Validate Your Sitemap: Use a sitemap validation tool to check for errors. You can use the Validate XML Sitemap tool. Enter your sitemap URL and click VALIDATE SITEMAP to see if any issues are detected.

    3. Check for Unsupported File Format: If you see an unsupported file format error, ensure that you are using the correct quotation marks for XML attributes (straight single or double quotes only).

    4. Check Status Code: Use the httpstatus tool to check your sitemap’s status code. It should return a status code of 200.
