Sitemap and RSS Feed doesn’t contain Featured Image

    Hello RankMath,

    I have been running my site moneypremier.net since May 2020 and I have never been featured on Google Discover.

    I was recently checking if all the links, sitemap, RSS feeds, etc were good for Google to feature me on the Discover platform and I compared my RSS Feed with one of my competitors.

    I noticed that my RSS Feed doesn’t contain the <image> tag. But my competitor’s RSS Feed has the <image> tag.

    And I read in multiple places, that Google Needs a certain image size for the featured image (1200px wide, I think) to feature the article on their Discover.

    How can I fix this?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    To include the featured image for every post, navigate to your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Others and add the %FEATUREDIMAGE% variable in RSS Before Content.

    Please note that some options are only available when you enable the Advanced Mode in Rank Math. If it’s not showing, you must have chosen to use Easy Mode.
