Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Could you please share the issue you are facing with the sitemaps?
You can share screenshots using https://imgbb.com/If the sitemap is not opening or throwing a 404 error, please follow these steps:
1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/Once done, clear your website and browser cache and check the sitemaps.
That should fix the issue. Please let me know if that does not. We are here to assist.
I already cleared the cache and disabled my plugins. I was giving an error “error line 2” something and now only this error page is blank.
Hello,
The error on your sitemap page suggests there must be some white spaces before the XML Sitemap’s source code.
Please follow this troubleshooting guide to fix that issue:
https://rankmath.com/kb/fix-sitemap-issues/#xml-text-declarationHope that helps.
Looking forward to helping you.
I tried to disable the cache plugin and it didn’t work.
then in the source code of my site. it doesn’t even appear that it has a sitemap.
nothing solves, disabled cache plugin updated permanent links already cleared cache.
can you help me?
Hello?
Hello,
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
I’ll be waiting, thank you very much
Hello,
I checked and figured out that the issue is being caused by your theme. If you switch to any other theme then the sitemap works fine. Please get in touch with the developer of your theme and inform them about the issue. They should be able to resolve this.
Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to your update.
