Can you please follow these steps?
1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server.
That should fix the issue. Please let us know if that does not. We are here to assist.
thank you again the host server said they flush the cache on their end as well. is that all ok?
dear support, thank you for your support. i followed your screencast i think. i do not have a cahce plugin. i have sitespeed through the host but they were not able to help remove the sitemap from cache so i downloaded cache enabler wordpress plugin. i have a screen shot. what and where to i put a file to exclude sitemap of rankmath? also now the page of sitemap looks like this: https://finaloca.com/sitemap_index.xml but it used to look like a white page with like contents on it. will it take time to look like that again? and will it take time for google search console to clear? https://ibb.co/gFB7jyn

I checked your sitemaps and the sitemaps are loading properly.

Assuming the main issue here is the Couldn’t fetch error in the Google Search Console, as you’re not using a caching plugin, please remove all the sitemaps from your Google Search Console account, and then submit only the main sitemap (your-domin.com/sitemap_index.xml) (please ensure to replace “your-domain.com” with your actual domain).
Further, give Google some time to crawl your website again and see if the issue is fixed.
