I am having the same issue.
First and last post sitemaps are working but post-sitemap-2.xml & post-sitemap-3.xml receiving 404 error. Please check it ASAP!
Found out that the sitemap is stored in the browser cache and it doesn’t clear up. Try useing ingonito mode.
How long does it typically take for RankMath to answer on forums?
Something strange is definitely going on. After about 1 weeks of having those errors, the errors went away on my post-sitemap for 2 days. And now they’re back with 52 errors now. What is going on with RankMath??

Just to be sure, are you using a cache plugin? If yes, could you try adding the following cache exceptions, then clearing the cache and resaving the permalinks?
/(.*)sitemap(.*).xml
/(.*)sitemap.xsl
