    Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for the inconvenience caused.

    The sitemaps, by default, are set to noindex as it is not meant to be indexed and appear in the search results.

    The sitemap should only be submitted in the sitemaps sections in the Search Console.

    Also, you only need to submit the main sitemap in the Search Console.

    As my colleague mentioned above, all sitemaps have the noindex tag applied to them because they are not intended to be indexed on the search results, but instead submitted for Google Search Console and similar tools.

    In short, it’s completely normal and absolutely fine to see the error, as sitemaps are not intended to be indexed. Also, the URL inspection tool is for the actual URLs of your website you wanted to be indexed.

    As you can see in the below screenshot, sitemap of Rank Math also have the same error:
