Hello,
Thanks for contacting us!
As per Google’s guidelines, site links are only needed on the Homepage of the website and that is why Rank Math adds the site links markup only on the Homepage.
For more details, please refer to this article:
https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/sitelinks-searchbox
Add this markup only to the homepage, not to any other pages. this section in the above article sheds light on the topic.
Hope this helps.
Thanks!
Thank you for the quick reply.
Ok, so this would have no influence on traffic correct? I think I misunderstood what this is.
I have another unrelated question:
I’m running a Blog, so I chose “Private Blog” for my site.
In the Schema Markup I chose “Article” and then there is another option called “Article Type”.
Do I choose “Article” or “Blog Post” for my Article Type? I’m asking because there is a note, that Google does not allow Persons as Publisher for Articles or something like that.
Hello,
Thank you for the follow-up.
About the difference between Article and Blogpost schema, we talk in detail in this post about all the schemas (https://rankmath.com/kb/rich-snippets/) and the Article and Blogpost schema can be used interchangeably.
For Google, “Article” and “Blog Posting” is the same (even when having those two Schemas) so you can use whatever option you prefer.
You can use Blog Posting for posts and Article for pages.
I hope that helps. Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance.
