Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), the automatic update must be disabled by one of your plugins or active theme.

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
If the issue persists, please check your wp-config.php on your file manager:
“define( ‘AUTOMATIC_UPDATER_DISABLED’, false);”
If so, you can set it to True and clear your website’s cache.
