  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I checked your website’s robots meta and it seems to be properly configured for the Search engine to crawl.

However, the sitemap isn’t loading and the robots.txt file isn’t properly configured.

For the sitemap, please ensure to enable the sitemap module under Rank Math > Dashboard > Modules. If that doesn’t help, please follow these steps:

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    3. Then submit the sitemap page to your Google Search Console dashboard.

As for your robots.txt file, please refer to the standard configuration that Rank Math usually use:

    User-Agent: *
    Disallow: /wp-admin/
    Allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

    Sitemap: https://gravitasgroup.io/sitemap_index.xml

You can edit the robots.txt file with Rank Math by going to Rank Math > General settings > Edit Robots.txt

Here is a guide for your reference:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-edit-robots-txt-with-rank-math/

After doing so, please clear your website cache and give Google some time to recrawl your website.

Let us know how that goes.

    Hello Jeremy,
Thank you for your quick answer. Looks a bit technical to me but will do my best!!
So do you think that once I do my site will be found ? (did you try yourself to find the site in google, I find it strange that even by typing the full name it doesnt appear.
Last question, where do I input those keywords like biometric, border management, etc?
Thank you for all your help, take care.

    Hello,

Having a robots.txt file with the default rules will allow search engine bots to crawl the website.

For the keyword, you need to put them inside the content and optimize the content for those keywords. You can enter those keywords in the Focus keyword field so Rank Math can give you recommendations to optimize the content.

However, ranking on Google depends on so much more than just your on-page optimization.

You can design an SEO strategy to improve your rankings. Here are some of the factors Google considers when ranking you: https://backlinko.com/google-ranking-factors

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
